eAlert FAQ

eAlerts are emails sent to you to notify you of certain transactions or events happening on your account.
If you are already registered for Online Banking, signing up for eAlerts is quick and easy. Login to Online Banking and select the "Settings" link on the menu bar and the "eAlerts" link on the sub menu bar. You may then choose your settings and the individual eAlerts you would like to receive. There is no limit to the number of eAlerts you may add to your account. However, eAlerts are separated by categories: Events, Balance, Transaction, Item, Security and Personal. You will need to select your desired eAlert notifications from each category.
If you are a member and would like to set up eAlerts on your account, but are NOT registered for Online Banking, please contact the Credit Union.
Current eAlert Settings allow you to define how you want to receive your eAlert notifications. You may elect that your email notifications be available when you login to Online Banking or sent to your email address and/or Cellular Phone address by entering these desired settings on your account. Login to Online Banking and select the "Settings" link on the menu bar and the "eAlerts" link on the sub menu bar. You will need to select the "Current Alert Settings" category.
Yes. Once you define your Current eAlert Settings, any future eAlerts you add will have the default values specified by you.
You can change your Current eAlert Settings at any time. Login to Online Banking and select the "Settings" link on the menu bar and the "eAlerts" link on the sub menu bar. On the "Current Alert Settings" category, select the "Edit" link and make your desired changes. The changes you elect will determine how your eAlert notifications are sent hence forward.

No. If you've set up eAlerts with a different email address than the address on your Current eAlerts Setting, making a change to your Current eAlerts Settings will not alter your existing eAlerts. However, new eAlerts that you set up hence forward, will automatically populate with your Current eAlert Settings information.
Login to Online Banking and select the "Settings" link on the menu bar and the "eAlerts" link on the sub menu bar. eAlerts are separated by categories: Events, Balance, Transaction, Item, Security and Personal. You will need to select the category containing the eAlert you would like to discontinue. Uncheck the alert type that you wish to stop and click submit.
Yes. Login to Online Banking and select the "Settings" link on the menu bar and the "eAlerts" link on the sub menu bar. eAlerts are separated by categories: Events, Balance, Transaction, Item, Security and Personal. You will need to select the category containing the eAlert you would like sent to your mobile phone. Select the "Text" alert type box and click submit.
Some eAlerts are sent within minutes of a transaction taking place, such as: password change, invalid login and balance above eAlerts. Other eAlerts that serve as reminders to loan payments due, maturing certificate of deposits and personal eAlerts, will be sent in the early morning.
Immediately. eAlerts are processed and sent in real time. You will not receive any eAlerts for transactions that occurred prior to when you set up the eAlert.
You can choose to receive an email, text or login message whenever one of the items below occurs on your account.
- Events — Maturing certificates, transfers, insufficient funds, loan payment due, etc.
- Balances — Know when your balance goes above or below a certain amount
- Transaction — Receive an alert when a purchase over or above a certain amount occurs
- Item — Receive an alert when a specific check clears
- Security — Know when your Online Banking ID or password is changed, successful or unsuccessful login attempts
- Personal Alert — Create your own message and set the frequency of your alert
There is absolutely no limit to the number of eAlerts you can sign up for.
Yes. However, you will only receive eAlerts for products and services relevant to your account.
